  “Still,” Trisha said. “The man and his cohorts were good. He pulled off a hell of an act, Dane. You have to admit it.”

  “Yeah, he did. So did the rest of the pack. Rumor has it that they’ve been lying to other pack members about humans being forbidden too. Guess I’m not the only stubborn one of the bunch.
